Introduction & Inspiration

Why I started Naqshé and where these Design come from?

Geometric patterns have always inspired me. I felt drawn to the harmony, the repetition and the beauty they held.

As I became more curious, I started learning about these patterns and discovered the rich tradition of Islamic geometric art, how it developed across centuries and continents, in tiles, domes and carved wood. From Damascus to Granada, each place use geometry in its own unique way.

I began imagining these designs would be something we could wear and carry. Something modern, minimal and meaningful.

And this is how Naqshé was born.

The patterns on my T-shirts are not exact replicas of historic art. but they are personal interpretation inspired by a monument and a detail I experienced in a specific city whether it's Damascus, Beirut or Marrakech.

This blog is where I'll share the story behind each piece : What inspired it, which city it echoes and how I turned that inspiration into wearable geometry.

It's for anyone who loves design, whether or not you come from this culture. I believe these patterns have the power to connect us across cultures and time.

Welcome to Naqshé.
